Hi, I’m Linda. I’m Scwartzy’s mom, an artist, and an entrepreneur....

That’s a picture of Schwartzy up there – if you look closely you’ll see that she’s smiling! She’s adorable and wonderful – and I want to share stories and information about her here. I hope you will add stories about your own pets here too!

One of the things that makes Schwartzy really happy is that I am home most of the time. I work from home as an Artist and a Network Marketer.

I feel blessed to have several businesses that allow me to work from home, be my own boss, AND help others. There is information about what I do, some really neat pet stuff, and some other random useful information here. Check out the links on the right and the pages you see listed at the top. Contact me if you have any questions or want any more information about anything. I love to meet new people and LOVE to help people.

Let me tell you a little more about Schwartzy. First of all her name – “schwartz” means black in German – a friend suggested “Schwartzy” and it seemed to fit. She’s a little over 5 years old. Her mother was rescued when she was pregnant and my little Schwartzy was the runt of the litter. Her world is my one bedroom apartment. She is adorable, amazing, and very talkative (and I don’t mean “meows”)

The very short video below shows just how cute she is!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Schwartzy was 4 months old when I got her. Up until then she had lived with her mom and 4 brothers.
Some special things that Schwartzy does:
* Thanking me for food.
Schwartzy was just 4 months old when I adopted her. Her foster mom had me buy various cans of kitten food, but when I got her home, she did not want to eat any of them. After a day of trying to get her to eat, I called her foster mom who gave me a recipe for some soft food that she thought might be all that Schwartzy had been eating. (She wasn’t sure because Schwartzy’s 4 brothers were much bigger than her and she mostly stayed out of the way – and I guess out of sight) I had to go to the store to buy some of the ingredients and then cook it up. By the time I gave her the food it had been at least 28 hours since she had eaten. When I put down the dish of food, Schwartzy sniffed it – then came over to me and rubbed up against me and then went and ate it all up.
To this day, she will almost always come and thank me before she will eat food I bring her.
* Making Sure I am OK
The cutest thing happens almost every time I sneeze. I spend a lot of my day sitting at my computer or in front of my easel. I’ll be working away – and Schwartzy will be cat-napping in the bedroom. I’ll sneeze and just keep on working. A few seconds later, I’ll feel a little tap-tap on my arm like someone wanting to get my attention. And there she is, standing on her hind legs, one front paw resting on the arm of my chair, supporting her and the other front paw tapping my arm. I look down and she’s looking up at me, her eyes so dialated that they are almost all black. She comes to me with the same look whenevr I sneeze – wherever I am in our apartment. I pet her and tell her I’m fine and then she looses her look of concern and goes back to whatever she was doing. She takes such good care of me!
